Principle - Jordan Trachtenberg, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
Jordan Trachtenberg is the founding principal of Trachtenberg ///, a Miami-based architecture and design studio recognized for delivering high-quality, context-driven work across residential, cultural, and commercial sectors. With a background shaped by global practice, Jordan’s leadership combines international design experience, technical precision, and a commitment to craftsmanship and innovation.
Prior to establishing Trachtenberg ///, Jordan spent several years abroad, with extended time in Seoul, Singapore, and Amsterdam. While at UNStudio in Amsterdam, he led the design and execution of major international projects, including the Singapore University of Technology and Design, the Library and Center for New Media in Ghent, and the Zara flagship store in Rome. His practice today draws from that experience, with recent work spanning the flagship location of O Cinema in Little River, mixed-use and cultural developments in Wynwood, and high-end residential and hospitality projects in Sunny Isles Beach. Past collaborations continue to inform the studio’s approach, including contributions to 2000 Ocean in Hallandale Beach with TEN Arquitectos and development projects for Château Group and Fortune International alongside UNStudio.
In addition to his architectural practice, Jordan is a co-founding partner of Devtrac Properties, a commercial real estate brokerage, and &gallery, a platform dedicated to supporting local artists. He is active in academia, teaching professional practice and graduate design studios at Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University, with a focus on his Decoding Development series exploring the intersections of design, urbanism, and economic forces. Jordan has also served as a guest critic at Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University, Pratt Institute, and the Städelschule in Frankfurt.
He holds a Master of Architecture, with Honors in Design, from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Design in Architectural Studies, with Honors, from Florida International University. Jordan currently serves on the Historic and Environmental Protection Board for the City of Miami, the FIU CARTA Dean's Leadership Advisory Board, and the Wynwood Design Review Committee. He previously served as President of the Columbia University Club of South Florida, representing over 3,500 alumni.
